We’re volunteers serving God’s people in the northern Dominican Republic
OUR STORY
Sowers of the Kingdom
Founded in 2007 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 2009, Sowers of the Kingdom is a Christian faith-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting those who serve the Lord in the Dominican Republic.
Based out of Summerville, South Carolina and joined by volunteers from all over the East Coast, we partner with US missionaries and local Dominican community members who are passionate about making a difference.
Together, we share God’s love through church-sponsored medical clinics, construction outreach projects, home visits, and a quality education at our private school, Los Niños del Reino.
Our mission is to build lasting, Christ-centered relationships in the communities we serve.

WE BELIEVE
Our Statement
of Christian Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God – fully authoritative, truthful, and sufficient for faith and life.
We believe in one living and true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – equal in glory and power
We believe that Jesus Christ is truly God and truly man, the eternal Son who took on flesh for our salvation.
We believe that salvation from sin and eternal death is found in Christ alone and is received by grace through faith, apart from any human merit.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who gives life, convicts of sin, unites us to Christ, and sanctifies believers for holy living.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins through Christ, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
We believe Christ will return in glory, and until that day, the Church is entrusted with proclaiming the Gospel to all the nations until He comes.
